About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Journeyman Plumber & Gas Fitter to join our dynamic team in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities

  • Residential rough-ins and finishes
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their development and adherence to industry standards and safety
    protocols.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential settings
  • Perform gasfitting tasks including installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of gas lines and appliances
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and gas fitting issues efficiently and safely
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and sequence of plumbing and gas systems
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality customer service
  • Complete documentation and reports as required for each job

 

Qualifications

  • Heavily experienced in residential venting, drainage and water systems
  • Residential rough-in & underground installation knowledge
  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Plumber certification
  • Valid Gas Fitter (Class B) certification for Alberta
  • Strong knowledge of provincial codes and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Valid class 5 driver’s licence and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in various site conditions
  • Customer service experience an asset
  • First Aid and WHMIS certification an asset
